Badgers staying North

The FA have released the league allocations for next season. As expected, Brocton remain in the North West Counties Football League First Division South. Disappointingly, there are only 18 teams in the league for next season so a reduction in revenue with two less home league games.

From last season, Wythenshawe Amateurs (who have dropped the Amateurs part of their name) and Cheadle Town have been promoted whilst Rocester and Foley Meir are both relegated to the Staffs County League. Two sides from the MFL Premier Division have been relegated and moved into the NWCFL, Market Drayton Town and Uttoxeter Town.

The allocations are subject to appeal and ratification - a significant number of appeals have already been received (none in Division One South as far as I am aware)
