Last week, the club joined 137 other clubs in Step 3-7 to appeal against the FA's decision to null and void the 2019/20 season. Like many other clubs, we felt the decision the FA had taken was without due consultation with the clubs affected, was not protecting the integrity of the non-league game and should not have been completed as hastily as it was.
Whilst the decision to suspend the season was the right one and given timescales, inevitably confirming the end of the season, the decision to null and void comes with other consequences the FA do not look to have considered.
The letter will now join the likes of South Liverpool, South Shields and many from our own league as the decision to ratify the FA's original view goes to the FA Council later this month.
