MANAGERIAL APPOINTMENT MADE

Brocton FC are delighted to announce the appointment of Alex Curtis as their new player / manager. Alex is a former Brocton player and has been recently plying his trade at Chasetown at Step 4.


Alex will have an exciting group of assistants and coaches. Jake Triggs, Steve Vaughn and John Hamnett bring with them enthusiasm, expertise, and coaching experience to help the club climb the table.

Chairman Nigel Pepper said “It is a fresh start for the club. Alex knows the club well and has a wealth of contacts in the Stafford area which will be required to add to the current squad. It has been a difficult season up to know but with 24 games left, Alex has time to get the team moving forward in the way that we all want to see”.


Alex Curtis is delighted with the move “‘I am so pleased to be given the opportunity to manage this football club. I am delighted to have Jake, John and Steve joining me in managing the club and are all people I trust and worked with previously. There are some good players at the club and I hope to add more quality to the squad in the coming weeks’


The new management team’s first game in charge will be at Wolverhampton Sporting in the JW Hunt Cup on 13th October before a trip to current NWCFL league leaders New Mills on October 16th.
