WE'RE BACK!!!!

It's been a while all but the club is slowly coming back into life as the U21's and U13's return to training and friendlies, post the biggest break in football anyone can remember.

In the toughest moment for non-league football and with many clubs unable to sustain themselves during the break, the sight of the green back at Silkmore Lane is certainly cause for celebration as the UK looks towards trial events, vaccination programmes and some form of the new normal.

Neil's U21's took the lead this week with training and a friendly at Silkmore Lane with Alscott U21's and with the TRM Cup to look forward to over over the next 6 weeks. All fixtures are available on the U21 page and of course updates on here, @broctonfc on both Twitter and Instagram.

Our U13's also returned to training this week and look forward to friendlies through the remainder of April and May, before a summer break.

In club news, the grounds team are making the most of the longer summer break than usual, by completing heavy refurbishments of the main pitch and second pitch with works due to commence in mid April. This gives the team probably 3-4 weeks longer to work on the facilities than they'd usually have.

There's no first team league / friendly news at this point, but we will share this as it becomes available.
